Talking about Philippi

I recently preached a sermon in my home church about the book of Philippi. While I didn’t talk a lot about Lydia, the novel, I did discuss Lydia, Euodia, Syntyche, and of course Paul. The sermon explores a lot of the reasons why I loved the epistle to the Philippians so much I wanted to write a book about it. If you’d like to listen to my sermon, you can find it here.

In other exciting news, Lydia is now available on Amazon.com for those who can’t rush out and buy the book at a store in your area.  I have also set up an Amazon Author Page which features all my Christian books (my other books, By the Rivers of Brooklyn and The Violent Friendship of Esther Johnson, are also listed there, but aren’t actually carried by Amazon.  Indigo.ca is still the best source for those wanting a copy of Brooklyn, while Violent Friendship is out of print and best found through second-hand online sellers).

It’s Giveaway Time!!

I finally got my comp copies of Lydia today, and I’m anxious to share them with you! I have three lovely, brand-new copies to give away, which will be personally autographed for you or whomever you wish to give them to. All I ask in return is that if you like the book, you’ll spread the word to others! Lydia is currently available at the Adventist  Book Centre, in stores and online, and will soon be on Amazon.com . I am going to work on getting it into a bookstore here in my local area too.
